COBB FIBRE OTTICHE

FIBER OPTIC MUSEUM LIGHTING

Cobb Fibre Ottiche | FIBER OPTIC MUSEUM LIGHTING

In November 2024, COBB Fibre Ottiche carried out an intervention at the prestigious Medicea Laurenziana Library in Florence.

The intervention concerned the replacement of the old 100 W halogen generators, now obsolete, with our innovative 30 W LWH-LED30 light lights with warm white light.

Thanks to this new LED technology, we have not only improved the quality of lighting, but also contributed to enhancing the exposure and preserving the elements of great cultural value present in the library.

The advantages of our illuminators include:

• Energy efficiency: reduction of energy consumption compared to old halogens.

• Zero maintenance: our products do not require periodic interventions thanks to their reliability.

• Absolute silence: the absence of internal fans guarantees a noise-free environment.

• Superior durability: LED technology ensures a long operating life.

This intervention is part of a series of collaborations that COBB Fibre Ottiche has carried out at the museum level.

We have already operated in other museums, replacing old halogen lighting systems, bringing the same advantages in terms of efficiency, reliability and enhancement of the works on display.
